From the Chief
First off I want to welcome you to the webpage of the Glen Rose Fire & Rescue. It has been a great honor to serve as fire chief for so many years. Since taking the office of the chief in 1993, I have seen many changes in our department. It was a small department with one station and with a budget of $12,000.00 and 4 pieces of equipment, With the formation of our fire district in 1999 and a increase of funds to over 100k a year witch include charitable donations, from there we have done nothing but grow into the largest fire department in Hot Spring County with three stations and 12 pieces of equipment. With over 350 call per year we are the second busiest fire department in our county next to the city of Malvern. From the addition of our thermal imager we was once again the first to own a thermal imager with the help of the Stergis Foundation. Through the years we have strived to become the best volunteer department in our county, with many long days and the hard work my staff I feel we have achieved the goals that we set so many years ago, and still to this day we are working to make our department even better. With that said I would like to thank you once again for visiting our site and hope you find it very informational.
